About Logan

Dr. Logan Grumbach is an engineer and professional futurist located in the Huntsville, AL area. Dr. Grumbach’s expertise is in Missile Defense systems and he has supported multiple government agencies including the Army, Navy, Space Force, and Missile Defense Agency. He is an adjunct instructor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and is serving a two-year appointment as the Assistant Director for Synergistic Relations between Academia and Practice.

Dr. Grumbach’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science in Aerospace Systems Engineering, and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Systems Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. His doctoral research focused on complex systems integration and the success of heritage/reuse system integration.

He continues research in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, and Future’s Thinking.
